Working with the disabled

Another activity which came as a side result of my research in SeEBrowser is that I took the initiative to establish an academic unit in ATEI to provide assistive learning services for students with various types of disabilities. Because the SeEBrowser programme was mainly applied in blind users, I soon realised the special difficulties students with disabilities experience during their studies. I have proposed the new unit to the central council of ATEI, mostly to promote the use of ICT assistive technologies for students with disabilities.
